Battletown Materials produces and sells DOT-approved crushed limestone products for a variety of uses from our quarry located in Meade County, Kentucky. Our crushed limestone products are used for heavy civil and highway projects, commercial and residential construction, marine construction, concrete and asphalt paving, as well as agricultural lime.

Battletown Materials produces crushed limestone products from a variety of geological formations, benches, and ledges. Our construction aggregate materials are approved for general construction and roadway uses by KYTC, WVDOT, and ODOT.

Truck & Barge Delivery Services

Our strategic location on the Ohio River allows us to reach a large portion of the Ohio River Valley by barge as well as Meade and surrounding counties by truck. Armed with a full-time crew of experienced employees and our own 1250HP Towboat, we clean, load, and fleet multiple barges everyday.

Typical uses are road base, under slab fill and base, foundation base and backfill, drainage and erosion control, stabilization, pipe bedding and backfill, aggregate for making ready-mix concrete and hot mix asphalt, agricultural limestone (Aglime) for neutralizing soil acidity and as a source of calcium and magnesium, as well as many other uses.
